I think Pranta has a point there. But still as we already started working, why not do the first three chapters to see the reaction of the fan? After we finish our work on these three chapters, let's do something more simple like Pranta suggested. Although I don't have a idea about simple manga which is easier to translate. Any suggestions Pranta or anyone??

Using the wanted posters is not a bad idea, but it'll be important how we represent them. Let's use the picture of the wanted poster and replace the name with our staff crew. Let's say Nami = Lightrain. Explanation : Lightrain is the cleaner plus typesetter of our Crew. And Nami is the Cleaner (yeah she also cleans all the treasure from opposing pirates) and Navigator of her crew. Thus I came to that conclusion. Similarly Shinobi vai is the Captain of our crew. So Shinobi vai = Luffy.

Why limit it Gender wise? I'm sure Rain will like to have Luffy. As for me.. Zoro sama :3 (Sadi-chan lost by few votes )

I was trying to imply that we do this according to the post we got in this group. I was definitely not thinking about it in a gender wise way!!! If I was then I might have nominated her to be Robin Chan!!!

sigh my only problem is teh time. I can type fluently in Bengali(Avro Unicode phonetic keyboard ) and I'm also good at Bengali-English translations. Guess I can help out in random times.

I suggest that you guys start off with a small manga, distribute your work to anyone willing to read it and ask for their opinion. You need to know which form of Bangla to use- formal, informal(i.e., the one we use) or colloquial(it would've been hilarious if used for humorous titles, but not everyone is familiar with local accents). After this experiment, you can officially start translation.

the other two options are gr8. informal language should be more effective as native languages are not familiar with every1. khaise,korse type language mone hoe valo hobe..........

But the use of Banglish should be avoided. Of course this doesn't mean you'll use "aramkedara" instead of "chair" but we should try to maintain purity of the language. You can be informal, but still speak Bangla which is free from alien words

Informal language will surely give the manga an air of fun environment which it definitely needs. Also we can give native language dialogues for the funny(comic relief characters to be precise, like Usopp or Buggy from One Piece) characters to increase the fun factor and give formal dialogues to the characters that are much reserved or higher level(like Admirals or Royal Family members in One Piece).If you mean by Banglish by the language RJs of FM radios use then I agree with you. That is ridiculously absurd!!!

I also recommended to add Necray in the Team as a typesetter and a translator as well in the Scantalation group forum. Lightrain please add him and give the details to him via pm. Having a typesetter who can also translate is a really big bonus for us!!!
