The year 2021. Right before the night of the professed doomsday which is scheduled on 21st December, Comrade Trollobot lounging outside his trailer and refreshing his memory chips. Tomorrow is gonna be the last day on earth and its gonna be worth it. The united 9gag association of anime fans are gonna arrange the last MAZECON on earth. It all started back in 2011.
Mazecon Bangladesh 2011
I am sitting here on my computer writing this article while drinking herbal tea on my MazeCity Gift Mug. Where did I get it? I got it at Mazecon 2011. What is Mazecon you ask? Something I have to say you shouldn’t have missed if you are an anime fan. So what is Mazecon? It’s a dream come true for all anime fans of Bangladesh. Which only came to see the light of day thanks to the efforts of the founders of MazeCity aka TeamOtaku and the staff members who worked to bring you the first ever anime convention in Bangladesh.
Anime Convention December 2011: 1st time in Bangladesh!!!
It’s awesome how dedication can take someone so far. Simply following after the love of Japanese animation, six normal Bangladeshis made the impossible possible. Did anyone ever imagine that Bangladesh would ever have something like an Anime Convention? To all our Deshi anime fans, this was not a dream. The 1st Anime Convention in Bangladesh did take place, and it was more than anyone expected!!!
In The Heart of Every Anime Fan!!!
Every anime fan far and wide have always wanted a few things! More anime in their collection, more anime merchandise, other anime fans to talk to, to visit Japan the holy land for all anime fans and lastly one more thing! An anime convention! We live in a country where people think anime and cartoons are the same thing. And our parents tell us to stop watching cartoons because they are for kids. And worst of all even if we still watch anime we have no one to share it with. Well that all changed with Mazecity.
MAZECON 2011 - Registration is LIVE!
Mazecity online Registration is now open, so hurry up and register yourself before we run out of slots. All the details and procedure are given on the registration page; here is the link to the registration page. Make sure that you fill out the form properly and completely if you are participating in any events as we need to make appropriate arrangements. Also, don't forget your Mazecity ID as you will be required to mention that while collecting your Ticket on 26th November at Boomers.
