In the name of teamOtaku / MazeCity, our beloved Anime Community, we are going to celebrate its birthday in the upcoming December, so we thought, "Why not make the birthday party a blast and make it bigger than what it is?" From that point on the idea of a mini/promotional anime convention sprouted and we decided to arrange the MAZECON BANGLADESH 2011 to bring about a change in the anime culture of Bangladesh. Another reason is that we want to spread anime culture among the youngsters of the whole country. For that we need publicity, and hopefully if it is a success we will get plenty of it.
At last we decided the price of MAZECON BANGLADESH (December 2011) TICKET. It will be 700tk. Our REGISTRATION quota is 80 people, including us. If 80 people do not register by the end of the deadline, which is November 26th, then we will cancel the meeting and refund you in December. There will be plenty of surprises in store for you there...so, make sure you don't miss it!!!
We'll keep you updated from time to time through our homepage, forum and Facebook Group and Page. So keep following us for the updates. In case you have not noticed, the date of the actual event has also been announced, so ya, it is on Merry Mazemas (25th December).
Further Details will be updated soon. As for what is going to happen, we wanted to keep most of it a secret, but we are not going to leave you in the dark anymore. So we decided to brief you in on most of the part.

* Cosplay & Contest :
I bet no one ever imagined cosplay in Bangladesh to be possible, but it is going to happen and we are holding a Cosplay Contest. The best costume is going to win the super prize. So we ask all the enthusiasts not to lose this big opportunity to show off your crazy creativity. If you need any sort of help on this issue, follow this thread (http://mazecity.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=1162) in the forum and ask there, surely you will get prompt answer from your fellow cosplayer contestants.
* Anime Music Videos, PV, Trailers, Movie & MazeCity's Inside Video Screening :
We are going to spend some quality time enjoying the screening of anime music videos, PVs (Promo Videos), Trailers and Movies on the big screen. There will also be some homemade MazeCity inside videos which were meant to be a surprise, but now that we have mentioned them, I guess the cat is out of the hat!
* Anime Quiz :
This time the quiz will be on a bigger scale and it will test your anime knowledge to the limit. There will be no set anime series and the number of questions might be 30-50 or more. So if you want to grab the prize for it, we suggest you start revising your anime dictionary. Obviously, no kind of cheating is allowed. * Karaoke :
From visual to auditory pleasure, we are going to start our Karaoke contest. Bring out the inner diva/rock star that you have always meant to unleash upon this mere Earth. Sing to your heart's content, without any fear. We will make sure there are no rotten tomatoes or eggs available during this period. Ah, I almost forgot to mention that this Karaoke event is a contest too. We are having a lot of them, aren't we? * Fan Art Exhibition :
We know there are more fan artists available in Bangladesh than we can imagine. So bring along your best work up to date, show off your art mastery to the whole world. You can go to Fan works forum (http://mazecity.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=39) in the forum for some sample fan art and get inspired by that.
*Food:
So far we have not mentioned anything about food or refreshments. Some of you might already got put off by this. Do not worry, we are going to provide you with lunch, drinks and water. After all, we are a hospitable community, we won't let you leave starving.
* Since we are being so nice (!), and even though we were going to surprise you, we will now let you know that we will be giving each of the MAZCEON participants official MAZECON Bangladesh 2011 " T-shirt and Poster and something else". This "something" is going to be a total secret and you will not be disappointed when you get your hands on them.
* As it is a birthday party, so we are going to follow a bit standard tradition as well. You can expect the usual happenings of any Birthday Party..there's the chainsaw massacre of a chocolate/vanilla cake, devouring them like group ritual. Also the singing and clapping..and dancing, you imagine.
* I'll mention the things that were forgotten and don't really fall in a specific point. There will be a prize giving ceremony for each of the contests. So keep in mind your hands are going to be bloody-red from clapping before leaving the event premise. For the cosplayers we'll provide a changing room, so you can change into your costume after arriving there. Although unfortunately we can't provide a storage/locker/security room. So you'll have to keep your valuables in your own charge, and we are not to be held responsible, if they go missing, sorry buddy.
Also let your friends know about this, spread the word!! If you are thinking the ticket price is just too high, please be sure that you will be satisfied! You will not be disappointed once you actually attend the program. We can assure that you will gain lots and lose nothing.
As we will be enjoying the fun to the fullest, there will be some RULES to abide by. We will provide them later and we will stringently maintain them throughout the EVENT.
