The first Bangladeshi anime community that brought you all a place where you got to meet more anime fans like yourself. A place to express the things you have always wanted. Mazecity also brought you anime t-shirts which are barely available in Bangladesh and many other fun activities. This time they are proud to present to you MAZECON the first ever anime convention in Bangladesh. Maybe it’s not the thousand man convention you always hoped for. But it’s the start of something grand that will one day hopefully change Bangladesh. Who knows maybe in the near future when we get more members and meet more anime fans there will be a convention as huge as what you always have been expecting.
For those who didn’t register or pay for your tickets, I am sorry to say that you are missing out on something that should be amazingly fun. For those who did all I have to say is that I believe that you won’t be disappointed. Why because how often is it that you get to meet so many anime fans? How often is it that you get to enter an anime quiz, karaoke competition, etc and actually win a prize? And how often is it that you get watch anime on a huge screen and specially see people cosplay as some of for favorite characters? I will tell you one thing for sure! In my 19 years that I have been watching anime and all the years I have spent with other anime fans, none of us got to do any of those. It’s something that has always been a fleeting dream and nothing more. But all that has changed thanks to Mazecity and it’s staff members for bringing forth such an amazing feat of organizing the first anime convention in Bangladesh. And obviously none of this could have happened without the support of our old and new members, who we hope will support us through the years to come and take Mazecity to a whole new level.
A lot of you might be wondering something like this, “I paid 700 taka so what am I actually getting for it?”. The answer is simple, see the pictures and they will answer your questions. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words!
Just to state the obvious your getting a MAZECON poster which is as big as the game posters you can buy at IDB. If you own one already like me then I am sure that just like me you can’t wait to get your hands on it and then stick it on your wall. I don’t know about you guys but I find the poster just epic! Then we have the new t-shirt that all of you ticket holders are getting along with the poster. And I have to say this is the best Mazecity t-shirt ever! If this isn’t everything there is more! We are having an anime screening where we will show an anime movie and some trailers in HD on a projector. There is also a karaoke and cosplay competition as well as an anime quiz. All of which will have prizes. The prize is a surprise. I am sure all of you will love it. Now even if your not competing in the cosplay or karaoke its just fun to see your friends doing so. Something none of us have ever experienced. We will also have a fan art exhibition where you can show off your art work. You also get to know how Mazecity was born and the staff that have been working so hard all this time to bring you all of this. You will also be given food and drinks, plus there will be changing room for both boys and girls. Which will be guarded by respective staff members as to cause no problems. We know it’s embarrassing to dress up as a character and be on the road like that. Thus we are giving the changing rooms. And lastly the core part of MAZECON! Meeting new anime fans, sharing anime, and just enjoying yourself like nothing ever before. This is something I believe no ticket can ever put a price on. So to those who all bought one, see you soon at MAZECON! And don’t forget to bring the tickets because we won’t allow you to enter without a ticket.
